[ Holy Guacamole! ]
Your humble protagonist totally forgot the studio has a blog!
Oopsie Daisy!
Now that I remembered, I suppose I should give you a quick rundown of all the awesome stuff we've been up to!
August, September, and October brought artist features for Shelby Gircis, Willow Barnes, and Shannon Wirth. Our November artist backed out at the last minute, so this month we've got crochet and artwork by our senior artist, Angel Mae Glutz.
We did animal designs in August, Wanna-Dos in September, and Halloween things in October for our 50% off promo. This month we're doing something a little different. Instead of 50% Off certain designs, we have a selection of lettering styles available for $60 a word on your arms, legs, or shoulder blades; add $20 for each additional word. $80 a word on your torso; $30 for each additional word. $100 a word on the hands, neck; $40 for each additional word. There are still openings this month to take advantage of this promotion. To book yours, simply send a text message to (904) 323-1703 and we'll get you the earliest spot that works for you. ^_^
On October 21st we had the First Annual Adults Only Trunk-R-Treat!!! It was a blast!!! One artist sold her first painting and another creative had her highest sales of her vending career!
Our artists are planning something pretty rad for folks who stop by on Black Friday! Can't drop any deets just yet but I promise it's BIG!!!
Next month we will NOT have a featured artist. Instead we are going to be doing consignment on handmade holiday gifts, ornaments, and decorations. Anyone can participate. Email CovenJax@Gmail.com with Yule in the subject for details.
Next Wednesday, November 15th, 2023, is our monthly Stitchin' Witch! Free to all from 6:30pm to 9pm! Come by and work on any needle crafting project you desire with Angel Mae and others. If you'd like to learn how to crochet, there will be a free washcloth crochet pattern available and Angel Mae will be on hand to help you. ( If you're attending to learn, bring an I size crochet hook, one ball of worsted weight cotton yarn, scissors, and 2 stitch markers or bobby pins.)
We are currently requesting that anyone who thinks we are deserving of the title "Best of Jacksonville" go to Folio Weekly's nominations page and Nominate Coven for Personal Services/Best Tattoo Studio and Angel Mae Glutz for People/Best Tattoo Artist! We would love to let the city know we opened for business this year in a BIG WAY!
Thank you all so much for your continued support! I'll be diligently working to make sure this dang ol' blog is updated more regularly!
