Hey, Y'all! Angel Mae here! ^_^ I missed our weekly update last week. Sorry about that. It sometimes takes me a minute to get new habits to really stick. Plus, last week was my birthday, so I was a little distracted! ^_^ On to business as usual this week... Since the new year, we've had 2 new designs added to our Threadless shop! They are The Fool and The Magician watercolor paintings I've done for my Tarot Project.  Here is my Handsome Father-in-Law In his Fool shirt. Since we are STILL waiting on the city for our Certificate of Use, we were unable to have our grand opening for my birthday as we had originally hoped. Instead, we were here working on the place when friends and family took turns stopping by to see the studio and wish me a happy birthday! It was so very nice.  First post of the new year.  I was really hoping to have a ton of good news. However, and regrettably, that is not the case.  We are still waiting on the city... It's understandable, with the holidays as well as the number of new businesses opening up around Jacksonville. However, we are so incredibly ready to open our doors to walk-ins and be able to start hosting our art nights, that every day of waiting is torturous.  I must also, much to my chagrin, let you all know that Ashley is no longer tattooing. She and her fiance discovered that they were expecting in the fall of last year. So, she has chosen to not renew her tattoo license and instead focus on her new family.
